VOLUNTEER PROJECTS

Little Sisters of the Poor Home – A nursing home and health clinic for the poor. Federal Association members, their families and the Auxiliary have hosted holiday parties and provide money and supplies. - Contact: Diana Rockey, DM.

Auxiliary – Contact Alan Veeck - all welcome to join auxiliary for hands-on projects high school to age 35. Volunteers ages 18-40 welcome to help.

Malta Mercy - Eucharistic Ministry – On Saturdays members of the Order work with the Chaplain of Mercy Hospital Pittsburgh by acting as Eucharistic Ministers on a day when other volunteers and religious cannot serve the patients. Several members of the Order participate regularly. - Contact: Suzanne Karlovich, DM

ChristLife - In implementing the charism of our Order, defense of the faith, several members of our region will be working with the diocese to be trained in the program ChristLife, to evangelize and help people to live their faith. - Contact David Belczyk and Joe Rockey, KM

Red Door Ministry - Located in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh, the members of the Order make lunches and distribute them to our local homeless community every month. We also help provide seasonal clothing and shoes to those that are in need. - Contact: Rebecca Freyvogel Mousseau, DM

Currently the Pittsburgh Region has 42 Knights and Dames.  We have 4 candidates being invested into the Order in 2021, and we have 14 candidates in Formation for the Class of 2022.

Monthly Mass

Mass is held Monthly on the first Friday at St. Stanislaus Church in the Strip District 7:15 am.  

Breakfast immediately follows at Pamela’s across the street from St. Stanislaus.
