The Order of Malta Jacksonville Region served at a recent Food Distribution at Guardian Catholic School, an inner-city school in Jacksonville's urban core.  We worked in partnership that day with the Knights of Columbus, Catholic Charities, and Feeding Northeast Florida. More than 126 families received fresh, beautiful and nourishing food that day. The Knights and Dames serve at Guardian because the school is an amazing place of hope and belief that a strong Catholic education and values can make the difference. Nearly 400 inner city children attend Guardian from preK-3 through 8th grade. Guardian children have a 96% graduation rate from high school, which is one of the highest in the North Florida area.  Every child is on the government's free lunch program and every child is on a full scholarship in order to attend. It is our privilege to serve the Guardian families and their children as members of the Order of Malta.
