Lafayette Region Home Repair Program Underway

This week, confreres and friends of the Federal Association from across the country are participating in the annual Home Repair Program, which takes place in the Lafayette Region of Louisiana. As Monsignor Edward Dillon, a Conventual Chaplain ad honorem of the Order, said during the opening mass of the Rebuilding Week, this effort bears a striking resemblance to how knights lived out the charisms of the Order on a daily basis hundreds of years ago. The participants pray, attend mass, serve those in need, and spend time in community with one another each day of the week, continuing the 900-year old tradition of tuitio fidei et obsequium pauperum. A more detailed recap of this signature project of the Federal Association and Lafayette Region will be provided soon.
