A documentary film called ‘The Lebanon Project’ that explores the holiday camps run by the Order of Malta there was shown on Deutsche Welle, Germany’s international broadcaster a couple of weeks ago.
The Order has been running holiday camps for disabled people in Lebanon since 1998. The project has expanded over recent years with the involvement of a number of Order organizations and volunteers from around the world. It is a poignant and inspiring program.
