Boot Up Philly 2025 Yields Record Results

For the fifth consecutive year, members of the Order of Malta from across the Delaware Valley came together in Center City Philadelphia on Saturday, October 25th for Boot Up Philly, sponsored by Catholic Charities, to support those who may struggle during the coming winter months.

Thanks to the generosity of our local members and faith-based partners, we were able to distribute more than 800 coats and hundreds of other essential winter items to our vulnerable brothers and sisters throughout Philadelphia.

The continuing collaboration between the Federal and American associations in Philadelphia and Wilmington is a powerful testament to the Order’s charism of serving the poor and the sick. Together, we’ve built a tradition of compassion, teamwork, and faith in action.

A special note of gratitude goes to fellow members in Oklahoma City, whose Blessed Are They Foundation made it possible for us to obtain so many of the specially manufactured Coats for the Homeless.

This year’s Boot Up Philly was our most successful yet, thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, supporters, and community partners. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, St. John’s Hospice, and Catholic Charities of Philadelphia for their invaluable collaboration.

Through their partnership — and the platform that Boot Up Philly provides — the reach of our mission continues to grow, allowing us to serve more people and make a deeper impact than ever.
