Grant Funds Catholic Worker House Renovation

A major kitchen renovation at The Catholic Worker House in Lancaster, Pennsylvania was enabled by a $25,000 grant from the Federal Association nine months ago. The Lancaster Region is actively involved there year-round working in the kitchen and serving sit-down meals to the needy of Lancaster.
The kitchen was completely renovated, including air conditioning, floors, cabinetry, a new dishwasher, stove, and prep counters. Those receiving meals there are so pleased with their new environment for hot lunch.
