From January 9 to 11, the Jacksonville Region hosted a retreat at Marywood Retreat and Conference Center and San Juan del Rio Catholic Church in Jacksonville, Florida. Retreatants included members from across the Federal Association as well as knights and dames from the American and Cuban associations.

The retreat master was the Rev. Richard Mullins, C.O., a veteran chaplain of the Order and the Subpriory of Our Lady of Lourdes. Bishop Jan Liesen of the Diocese of Breda, Netherlands, delivered the keynote address via Zoom, as he was unable to attend in person.

The Marywood facilities provided a beautiful and welcoming setting for the retreat, complemented by favorable weather throughout the weekend. The Jacksonville Region is especially grateful to the Diocese of St. Augustine for making this venue available.

Through the spiritual leadership of Bishop Liesen and Father Mullins, retreatants were inspired to deepen their commitment to the Order’s charism of defending the faith and serving the poor and the sick.
