Nashville Holds First Healing Mass

The Nashville Region in Development held its first Healing Mass at the Cathedral of the Incarnation on February 23rd. Msgr. Michael Boland, conventual chaplain Grand Cross ad honorem, graciously flew in from Washington, DC to serve as the principal celebrant alongside Nashville Associate Chaplain, the Rev. S. Bede Price, and Cathedral Rector, the Rev. Eric Fowlkes. More than 150 guests were in attendance, and many of the seminarians of the diocese served as acolytes. A diocesan Healing Mass had not been held for some time, so the region was grateful for the opportunity to introduce something new to the diocese and publicly provide the sick of the area with an opportunity to receive God's sacramental grace.
