International Malta Camp 2025 Complete!

For the Federal Association – Team USA, this year’s International Malta Camp was a radiant encounter with joy, resilience, and fraternity. Set against days filled with prayer, celebration, and shared discovery, the Camp became a living reminder that the Order’s mission is not confined to service alone, but blossoms in the bonds of friendship and the spirit of communion. It was a gathering where young people with developmental differences, volunteers, and members of the Order of Malta came together to celebrate dignity, friendship, and joy without boundaries.
Federal Association – Team USA, guided by Rich Mena Jr., KM, member of the Auxiliary Committee, was privileged to be part of this extraordinary moment, standing shoulder to shoulder with brothers and sisters from across the globe in a living expression of our shared mission.
Over the course of this unforgettable week, we witnessed something far greater than a camp. We witnessed a profound encounter of hearts, where barriers dissolved, cultures embraced, and the Gospel call to love one another was made tangible in every gesture of care, in every smile exchanged, and in every hand extended in service. For those present, it was a glimpse of the Universal Church and the service through the Order of Malta in its most radiant form: united, joyful, and alive.
As Federal Association – Team USA returns home, the experience leaves us not only with treasured memories, but with a renewed sense of purpose. The International Malta Camp does not end when the banners are folded and the songs quiet down; it continues in the daily lives of all who were touched by it, in the conviction that compassion can transform the world and that joy shared is joy multiplied.
As every year, the International Malta Camp will be remembered as a celebration of life itself — a testimony that faith, when lived together, generates hope, courage, and light. Federal Association – Team USA carries that light forward, with gratitude in our hearts and a renewed commitment to serve Christ in our Lords, the Sick and the Poor, with open hands, open hearts, and unshakable joy.
In the faces of our guests, in the generosity of volunteers, and in the bonds forged across languages and cultures, we discovered once again the essence of the Order’s charism, in the awareness that the extraordinary dwells in the ordinary, and that together, we are capable of more than we ever imagined.
